You will find the motto, "Because I can", quite a bit on this website. It is a motto that I have adopted for many of my projects over the years and continue to follow. Many people ask why I have done something, "Why have you used that engine, this would be better", "Why are you bothering to spend that much time to do that", "Why have you got that". The answer is usually, "Because I can". Now some will also say, that just because "you can", it doesn't mean "you should"! But it does depend on the situation.

I want to design and make things my way. I have the belief that if someone else can do something, then I can learn to do it. To complete these projects, I have had to learn how to weld; MIG and TIG. I have had to learn how to use 3D design packages and then how to use that for 3D printing or machining. I'm always keen to learn new skills. So far, body work is the area I struggle with, so this is where I need to develop.

All of these skills take time, but also often require input from other people or their support. I have been helped by a great many people over the years and know some very clever people who have helped me complete the projects that I have.

Who knows where the projects may end, but I will always do them my way, simply "Because I can".
